I want my child to participate, what should I do? - Call our office at 814-865-7247 or email us at CBDLab@psu.edu to schedule an appointment. We will need you to answer a few questions prior to scheduling. How to reschedule your appointment? - Call our office at 814-865-7247. If I am running late, what should I do? - Let us know as soon as possible by calling the lab at (814) 865-6774.- Parking will be at the Nittany Parking Deck. Check the Parking page for more details. Is this going to cause any discomfort to my child? - No, your child should not feel any discomfort during the testing. How long will the appointment take? - You should allow approximately 2 hours for the appointment. Is there any compensation for participating? - You will receive $25 for your participation. How do I join the research team, if I am a student at Penn State? - Contact Dr. Lisa Gatzke-Kopp at LMK18@psu.edu. Check the For Students page for more information. Will I be given feedback about how my child's brain functions? - Our project is intended to identify typical developmental and congitive processes. To this end, we must look at everybody as a group rather than individuals. Also due to privacy concerns, we will not be identifying your child by name. To protect your anonymity you will not be given feedback. Once the study is complete you may contact us to receive a copy of the study results. |
